The following are selected examples of the types of documents we create for our clients from time to time. Most are quite simple (usually because the more involved documents we create contain proprietary or confidential information of our clients that cannot be easily edited out).

We post them here mostly to give you an idea of the nature and quality of our work. Feel free to use them as you wish, though we appreciate receiving due credit (e.g. a link from your site to ours?) if you find them to be useful.

  • Choosing a Java collection type:The Java Collections framework is extremely powerful. This UML diagram is helpful for choosing which collection type to use for a particular task. (added 7/16/2002).
  • Test, then code: Kent Beck and Erich Gamma preach the gospel that one should write unit tests for one's code before writing the code itself. Having tried this approach ourselves, we are hooked! Here is a Jump Start for adopting the 'test, then code' approach using a freeware package named JUnit (added 8/10/98).
